Pocheon Hantan River Garden Festa Senior Model Fashion Show Held on 'Y-Shaped Suspension Bridge' Pocheon City will hold a special senior model fashion show on the 5th at the Hantangang Garden Festa festival site, set against the backdrop of the Hantangang columnar joint canyon. Pocheon City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Baek Young-hyun) announced on the 2nd that a special senior model fashion show will be held on the 5th at the Hantangang Garden Festa festival site in Jung-ri, Pocheon City, with the Hantangang columnar jointing gorge as the backdrop.


The ‘Senior Model Fashion Show’ is a special event prepared to commemorate the Garden Festa. It is hosted by Pocheon City, organized by Penda Academy, and sponsored by the SUPERTHINGS brand.


The event will be held in two parts. The first part will take place at 11 a.m. on the 5th at the ‘Hantangang Y-shaped Suspension Bridge,’ the longest of its kind in Korea, and the second part will be held at 3 p.m. the same day at Doltap Garden. The fashion show is open for free viewing to all Garden Festa attendees.


Mayor Baek Young-hyun of Pocheon said, “The ‘Senior Model Fashion Show’ is the first fashion show held at Pocheon Hantangang, which boasts a natural scenic beauty. We hope visitors enjoy the romantic autumn atmosphere amidst the vast nature of Hantangang and create unforgettable memories.”


Meanwhile, the Garden Festa, an autumn flower festival held on the lava plateau with a grand view of Hantangang, offers various experiential events and performances such as eco-friendly electric bicycles, a dog playground, street performances, and garden horticulture classes, all set against the backdrop of beautiful seasonal flowers.


In line with Pocheon’s designation as a ‘Pet-Friendly Tourism City,’ visitors are allowed to enter with their dogs. So far, 120,000 people have visited the festival site.


The admission fee is 6,000 KRW for general visitors, with 50% of the fee refunded in Pocheon Love Gift Certificates. Admission is free for Pocheon residents, seniors aged 65 and over, and preschool children.


The Garden Festa will run until the 13th. On the 12th, the final special event, a dog agility (obstacle) competition, is scheduled.
