On that day, the city appointed Jeon Jae-kwan, head of the Gwangju branch of the Certified Real Estate Agents Association, as the head of the management team, and appointed a total of 20 members including the vice president, heads of eup/myeon branches, and guidance and supervision committee members as safe jeonse management team members.
The appointed management team plans to actively engage in voluntary brokerage culture improvement activities by encouraging the spread of participation in the 'Safe Jeonse Checkpoint Guard Campaign' and sharing on-site information from local certified real estate agents.
The main action tasks include △ not brokering risky properties △ providing a checklist to tenants before contracts △ providing status information of real estate office workers △ enabling electronic real estate contracts △ notifying changes in contract information such as rights relations after the contract (via text message service) △ notifying malicious landlords, etc.
In addition, to proactively respond to illegal activities such as jeonse fraud, the safe jeonse management team will continuously monitor illegal activities using on-site information and conduct joint public-private guidance and inspections targeting real estate offices suspected of illegal activities.
Mayor Bang Se-hwan said, “Through the activities of the Safe Jeonse Management Team, we will actively strive to create a safe and trustworthy jeonse contract environment through public-private cooperation.”
