Gwangjin-gu (District Mayor Kim Kyung-ho) is holding the '2024 Gwangjin-gu Job Idea Contest' to revitalize jobs tailored to the needs of residents.
There are five categories for submissions.
First, participants can propose policies or projects linked to Gwangjin-gu's job measures.
It is also possible to provide opinions for the main target groups of job projects, ▲Middle-aged (50-64 years old) ▲Youth (19-39 years old) ▲Women with career experience, or suggest ways to activate the Gwangjin-gu Job Center.
Outstanding proposers will receive certificates and prize money. The grand prize winner will receive 300,000 KRW, two excellence award winners will receive 200,000 KRW each, and three encouragement award winners will receive 100,000 KRW each.
Any resident or person living within the living area of Gwangjin-gu can participate. Those wishing to participate should submit an application form and proposal by October 11 through the Gwangjin-gu online policy room or via email.
The results will be announced in November after expert evaluation. Five criteria including feasibility and originality will be quantitatively assessed.
Kim Kyung-ho, Mayor of Gwangjin-gu, said, "We launched this contest to discover excellent job policies that residents truly need," adding, "We will do our best to gather diverse and innovative ideas to contribute to the creation of quality jobs."
