The Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education (Superintendent Lim Tae-hee) announced on the 2nd the "2025 Academic Year Gyeonggi-do Secondary School Teachers, Health, Librarian, Professional Counselor, Nutrition, Special (Secondary) Teacher Candidate Selection Competitive Examination Implementation Plan" on the Office of Education website.

The number of public teacher recruits for the 2025 academic year is ▲Secondary 1,674 ▲Health 80 ▲Librarian 6 ▲Professional Counselor 45 ▲Nutrition 58 ▲Special (Secondary) 70, totaling 1,933.

Along with this, including 4 national school teachers and 212 private school teachers selected by consignment, a total of 2,149 will be recruited.

Applications will be accepted from the 14th to the 18th through the "Online Faculty Recruitment System."

The secondary teacher candidate selection competitive examination will be conducted in two stages. The first exam consists of ▲Educational Studies ▲Major ▲Korean History (replaced by the Korean History Proficiency Test), selecting 1.5 times the planned number of recruits.

The second exam will be held for those who pass the first exam and includes ▲Teaching Ability Assessment ▲In-depth Interview on Teaching Aptitude ▲Practical Skills Evaluation (only applicable to Physical Education, Music, and Art subjects) to select the final successful candidates.

The first exam will be held on November 23, and the second exam will be conducted by recruitment field on January 15, 2025 (Practical Skills Evaluation) and January 21?22.

The private school teacher recruitment will be conducted by consignment to the Office of Education for the first exam only, and applicants may simultaneously apply for the public school selection competitive examination according to their preference.
