Dongducheon City Appoints Singer Jin Miryeong as Public Relations Ambassador

Mayor Park Hyung-deok of Dongducheon City is taking a commemorative photo after appointing singer Jin Mi-ryeong as the new promotional ambassador on the 2nd.

Dongducheon City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Park Hyung-deok) appointed singer Jin Mi-ryeong as its new ambassador on the 2nd.

The appointment ceremony was held at the Dongducheon City Citizens' Hall alongside the Citizens' Day event, attended by Mayor Park Hyung-deok and other officials.

Jin Mi-ryeong is a representative singer of South Korea, beloved by many for her familiar vocal tone and profound musical sensitivity.

Mayor Park Hyung-deok of Dongducheon said, "We are very pleased to have Jin Mi-ryeong as our city's ambassador," adding, "We expect that through her positive influence, she will help promote the various charms and culture of Dongducheon to a wider audience."

In response, Jin Mi-ryeong expressed, "I am honored to be appointed as the ambassador of Dongducheon City," and stated, "I will take the lead in widely promoting the unique beauty and potential of Dongducheon."

Meanwhile, Jin Mi-ryeong is expected to participate in various activities promoting Dongducheon's tourist attractions and cultural assets, and through this ambassador appointment, it is anticipated that she will contribute to attracting domestic and international tourists as well as revitalizing the local economy.
