The Ulsan Ulju-gun Dementia Relief Center is providing cognitive stimulation kits to home-based patients with mild dementia.
The cognitive kits are composed of puzzles, coloring books, colored pencils, and other items aimed at improving cognition and fine motor skills, helping to prevent the progression of dementia. Promotional materials, including brochures about the center's programs, are also included.
The center will first conduct phone consultations to assess the cognitive condition of dementia patients and their ability to use the kits, and then send the cognitive kits by mail. For more information, please contact the Ulju-gun Dementia Relief Center.
A representative from the Ulju-gun Dementia Relief Center stated, "We will do our best to provide counseling and management to registered home-based patients with mild dementia so they can access a variety of services."
The Ulju-gun Dementia Relief Center provides year-round counseling and management to registered dementia patients via phone and text messages. For those registered as dementia patients at the center who do not receive benefits such as dementia treatment management expenses or care supplies due to exceeding the median income standard for health insurance premiums, or who have not used support services, the center connects them with available services.
