Gyeongnam Information University and Bakeplus Sign MOU for Nurturing Bakery and Pastry Talent

Gyeongnam Information University recently signed a business agreement with Bakeplus, a company specializing in baking and pastry, to foster talent in the baking and pastry field.

The signing ceremony, held in the university's main conference room, was attended by Kim Taesang, President of Gyeongnam Information University, Brice Vuillet, CEO of Bakeplus, and other key officials from both organizations.


Through this agreement, both institutions have decided to cooperate in various areas, including joint curriculum development and strengthening entrepreneurship capabilities, to nurture the next generation of baking and pastry professionals.


Bakeplus is a company specializing in baking and pastry ingredients, supplying to well-known bakeries, department stores, and airline in-flight meals in Korea, and is recognized as a leading company in the industry.


CEO Brice Vuillet stated, "We will work with Gyeongnam Information University to incorporate Bakeplus's expertise into the curriculum to further enhance students' capabilities," and added, "We will also actively support the entrepreneurship of students in the hotel baking and pastry department in the future."


President Kim Taesang said, "Gyeongnam Information University will continue to provide generous support for students' employment and entrepreneurship together with our partner companies," and added, "We will do our best to nurture field-oriented professionals."


On the same day, Bakeplus hosted the '1st Kraftkon Mix Championship' at the 50th Anniversary Memorial Hall of Gyeongnam Information University. In the competition, which was judged by CEO Brice Vuillet himself, student Kwon Nayoon won first place with her 'Plum Cheese Cream Bread,' receiving the championship trophy and a prize of 1 million won.
