The Gyeongbuk Provincial Council (Chairman Park Seongman) will operate the "Citizen Report" system to actively reflect various opinions and reports from residents in the 2024 administrative audit, which will be conducted during the 351st regular session in November.
The reporting period will run for 31 days, from the 1st to the 31st. Reports can include suggestions and proposals for improvements to provincial and educational administration, cases of budget waste, illegal or unjust administrative practices, and other inconveniences in daily life. The submitted reports will be reflected in the administrative audit or used as reference materials. Last year, 12 citizen reports were received during the administrative audit.
Reports can be conveniently submitted through the Gyeongbuk Provincial Council website (Citizen Participation - Administrative Audit Citizen Report), by email, fax, mail, or in person. The results of the process will be directly communicated to the reporters after the audit is completed.
Park Seongman, Chairman of the Gyeongbuk Provincial Council, said, "We ask for your active participation and interest so that the administrative audit conducted by the council, the representative body of the residents, can achieve more substantial and meaningful results."
Meanwhile, the 2024 administrative audit will be conducted simultaneously by each relevant standing committee for 14 days from November 7 to 20, targeting the Gyeongbuk Provincial Government (including its offices), public institutions under the province, the Gyeongbuk Provincial Office of Education, and city and county education support offices.
