Broadcaster Park Ji-yoon has denied reports that she filed an additional lawsuit against the mistress during her divorce proceedings with her ex-husband, broadcaster Choi Dong-seok.

On the 30th, Choi Dong-seok wrote on his social media service (SNS), "It is true that an acquaintance of mine was sued by Park Ji-yoon," but added, "There was absolutely no illegal activity during my marriage with Park Ji-yoon." He continued, "I will respond firmly to the defamation caused by false accusations, and the truth will be revealed in court."


On the same day, CBS No Cut News reported that Park Ji-yoon filed a lawsuit for damages against a person identified as A in June at the Jeju District Court, and it was confirmed that A was sued as Choi Dong-seok’s mistress. Regarding this, Park Ji-yoon’s agency, JDB Entertainment, said, "It is a personal matter, so it is difficult to comment," and refrained from further statements.


Park Ji-yoon and Choi Dong-seok joined KBS as announcers in the 30th class and got married in November 2009, but their marriage ended after 14 years. The two are currently undergoing divorce proceedings.


In October last year, Park Ji-yoon filed for divorce mediation with Choi Dong-seok at the Jeju District Court. The first hearing was held on the 27th of last month, and the second hearing is scheduled for the 29th of next month. They have a daughter and a son.
