The meeting was attended by about 30 people, including Mayor Joo Gwang-deok, the commander of the 2nd Battalion of the 170th Regiment of the 55th Infantry Division, and 21 reserve force commanders.
At the meeting, Mayor Joo discussed plans for the development of the reserve forces, encouraged local reserve force commanders, and took time to communicate by listening to difficulties in operating the local reserve forces.
Mayor Joo Gwang-deok said, “I am grateful to the local reserve units who always strive for regional defense and security posture,” and added, “The city will continue to show interest and support without hesitation to foster and boost the morale of the reserve forces.”
