The Bibimjigi received CPR training prioritizing the safety of visitors. They pledged to create a safe festival through training on guiding movement paths to prevent crowding. Customized education such as gender equality training to prevent sexual harassment and to consider socially vulnerable groups like the elderly was also provided to strengthen the capabilities of the volunteers.

Meanwhile, the '2024 Jeonju Bibimbap Festival' is scheduled to be held for four days from October 3 to 6 at the Jeonju Sports Complex area.

This year's Bibimbap Festival is planned as a complex cultural and artistic festival where visitors can enjoy various Jeonju foods themed around Bibimbap and mixing, as well as cultural and artistic events encompassing both tradition and modernity.

The main event of the festival includes a large-scale Bibimbap performance commemorating the completion year of the Jeonju Sports Complex, with 1,963 participants including Jeonju citizens and tourists. The city aims to register this performance with the Korea Records Institute. In addition, various events and programs such as the Jeonju Food Theme Pavilion, Bibim Parade, and Bibim Treasure Hunt will be prepared.

A Jeonju City official said, "The Bibimjigi will play an important role responsible for the smooth operation of the festival," adding, "We will do our best to create a safe and enjoyable festival through thorough pre-education."
