Urban Renewal and Retirement Planning Citizen Education
Open to All Goyang Citizens
Goyang Special City in Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Lee Dong-hwan) announced on the 30th that it will operate the '2024 Goyang-type Maintenance Project Citizen Lecture' from October 15 to 19.
This maintenance project citizen lecture will be held a total of three times, covering topics such as △maintenance of aging planned cities △general maintenance projects (reconstruction, redevelopment, etc.) △small-scale housing maintenance.
The lecture is designed to enhance citizens' understanding through basic education on urban reconstruction and redevelopment related to the 'Aging Planned City Maintenance Act' and the 'Urban Maintenance Act,' and to support the smooth and successful promotion of maintenance projects.
Rather than providing uniform explanations about rapidly changing laws and systems, the lecture will offer education tailored to the level of citizens who are at the starting point of maintenance projects to increase their understanding.
Any Goyang citizen interested in reconstruction and redevelopment, including maintenance of aging planned cities, can attend free of charge.
Applications will be accepted in advance from the 30th until October 10. Each session will be closed on a first-come, first-served basis for about 100 people. Applicants can apply by scanning the QR code on the lecture poster posted on the city website and banners, then filling out and submitting the application form and consent form for personal information collection.
Application results will be individually notified on October 11, and for further inquiries, contact the Goyang City New Town Maintenance Division.
