Management Personnel Changes Marking the 44th Anniversary of Establishment
E-Land Group announced on the 30th that it has appointed Jo Dong-ju, Executive Director of E-Land World, as the head of E-Land World Korea Fashion Division in celebration of the group's 44th anniversary this year.
Newly appointed CEO Jo joined the company in 2007 and has held key positions related to fashion brands, including Group Strategic Planning Office, Head of Who.A.U brand, Head of New Balance brand, and Head of Sports BU. Since 2017, he has served as the Head of New Balance brand, contributing to increasing annual sales to 900 billion KRW. He has also been serving as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of E-Land World since last year. Through this appointment, E-Land World Korea Fashion Division plans to accelerate the development of the next-generation global brand worth 1 trillion KRW, following New Balance.

Hwang Sung-yoon, CEO of E-Land Eats, was appointed as the overall head of E-Land Distribution Division. Newly appointed CEO Hwang is a veteran in the food service industry, having served as Ashley Strategic Planning Team Leader, Rimini Brand Manager, Food Service Division HR Team Leader, and Ashley BU Head, before being appointed CEO of E-Land Eats in 2021. Since last year, Hwang has concurrently served as CEO of E-Land Kim's Club and launched 'Deli by Ashley,' an instant cooked food product priced uniformly at 3,990 KRW, utilizing Ashley Queens buffet menu. CEO Hwang will concurrently hold the positions of overall head of E-Land Distribution Division and CEO of E-Land Eats.
Through this appointment, E-Land expects the synergy effect between distribution and food service sectors, proven by CEO Hwang at Kim's Club, to spread comprehensively throughout E-Land's distribution division. A representative of E-Land Group stated, "Despite the overall difficult market conditions, we have given greater opportunities to executives who have achieved remarkable results through customer satisfaction and carried out management personnel changes to strengthen preparations for future core businesses."
