[Breaking] Prosecutors Demand 3-Year Prison Sentence for Lee Jae-myung on Perjury Coaching Charges

The prosecution has requested a three-year prison sentence for Lee Jae-myung, leader of the Democratic Party of Korea, who was indicted on charges of requesting false testimony from Kim Jin-seong, the late former mayor of Seongnam Kim Byung-ryang's secretary.

On the 30th, at the sentencing hearing for the charge of instigating perjury held before the 33rd Criminal Division of the Seoul Central District Court (Presiding Judge Kim Dong-hyun), the prosecution asked the court to impose this sentence on Lee.
