Dongducheon-si Approves Original Boundary Plan for Sangbongam 2 and 3 Districts

Boundary Delimitation Committee Meeting... Review of Boundaries in Cadastral Reinvestigation Project Areas

Dongducheon City held a Boundary Determination Committee meeting on the 27th, attended by the chairman and 10 committee members.

On the 27th, Dongducheon City in Gyeonggi Province announced on the 30th that it held a Boundary Determination Committee meeting attended by the chairman (Jeong Hyo-chae, including a judge from Dongducheon City Court) and 10 committee members.

The Boundary Determination Committee plays a role in finalizing the newly determined boundaries based on the cadastral survey results of the cadastral re-investigation project.

As a result of reviewing the boundaries of the Sangbongam 2 and 3 districts cadastral re-investigation project areas, which began last year, the boundaries of 59 parcels in Sangbongam 2 district and 124 parcels in Sangbongam 3 district were approved as originally proposed.

The city plans to hold a cadastral re-investigation committee meeting for lands in Sangbongam 2 and 3 districts where land increases or decreases have occurred to proceed with processes such as calculating adjustment payments.

A Dongducheon City official stated, “Through the Boundary Determination Committee, it will greatly help resolve the cadastral discrepancies that have been problematic in the area, and by quantifying the graphical cadastral data, it will contribute to the advancement of the cadastral system and securing the credibility of cadastral records.”
