Hyosung conducted the '2024 Hyosung-Purme Foundation Family Trip' from the 27th to the 29th, a 2-night, 3-day event near Hongcheon, Gangwon Province, together with families of children with disabilities from the Purme Foundation.

A total of 65 people participated in this trip, including 10 families of Hyosung employees and 10 families of children with disabilities. Each Hyosung employee family was paired one-on-one with a family of a child with a disability to travel around the Hongcheon area together for 2 nights and 3 days.

The families enjoyed experiential activities such as recreation, water play, pizza making, and feeding animals at Vivaldi Park, Ocean World, and Yangpyeong Imsil Cheese Village.

A parent of a child with a disability who participated in the event said, "For the past 10 years, I lived thinking travel was a luxury as I focused only on my child's treatment, but through this trip, I was able to relieve stress and recharge the energy to return to daily life and live happily."

Since 2013, Hyosung has supported rehabilitation treatment expenses for growing children with disabilities in partnership with the Purme Foundation. Since 2015, it has held an annual family trip for children with disabilities who find it difficult to travel due to rehabilitation schedules and wheelchairs, their non-disabled siblings who may be relatively neglected, and parents of children with disabilities who face time and financial difficulties in traveling.

Meanwhile, Hyosung supports the production of barrier-free films so that visually and hearing-impaired people can enjoy movies, sponsors creative activities of disabled artists at the Seoul Disability Arts Creation Center, and conducts social contribution activities for the rehabilitation and welfare of people with disabilities, such as having employees assist outdoor activities for children at daycare centers for children with disabilities every month.
