In preparation for the full-scale implementation of the high school credit system next year, the Ulsan Office of Education operated a relay training program to enhance the subject-teaching expertise of special education teachers, aiming to provide customized education for students in special education settings.
The training sessions were held on the 21st and 28th at the Park Sangjin Hall of the Educational Research and Information Institute, targeting over 50 special education teachers.
The program consisted of four sessions, combining theoretical lectures and practical exercises to improve both the instructional and practical skills of special education teachers.
The training focused on subjects such as health and nursing, information processing, and horticulture (floriculture and vegetable cultivation), with content including hands-on practice.
One participating teacher said, "Through this training, I was able to identify key points to pay attention to with the full implementation of the high school credit system in special schools, and it was a valuable opportunity to broaden my understanding of elective subjects."
