Gyeongbok University will conduct specialized practical drone training for veterans.
On the 30th, Gyeongbok University announced that it recently launched the 'Drone Operation Practical Specialization Course' through a consignment education agreement with the Gyeonggi Northern Veterans Support Center of the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs.
According to the consignment education agreement with the specialized veterans education institution, Gyeongbok University will support the smooth social reintegration of veterans and promote vocational education to strengthen employment and entrepreneurship capabilities.
The drone training will provide education through a diverse curriculum including obtaining the national drone Class 1 certification and practical specialization courses such as aerial photography, aerial pest control, and drone surveying and mapping.
Kwon Seung-hyuk, Dean of the Lifelong Education College at Gyeongbok University, stated, "Through the Drone Operation Practical Specialization Course at Gyeongbok University's Drone Education Center, we will strive to help veterans accumulate knowledge in the drone field, obtain qualifications, and plan a successful second career."
Gyeongbok University is accepting additional applications for the Drone Operation Practical Specialization Course for veterans until October 4.
