[Breaking] Prosecution Seeks 3 Years 6 Months Prison Sentence for Kim Ho-jung on Drunk Hit-and-Run Charges

The prosecution has requested the court to sentence trot singer Kim Ho-jung (33), who was arrested and indicted on charges including 'drunk hit-and-run,' to 3 years and 6 months in prison.

On the 30th, the prosecution demanded a 3-year and 6-month prison term at the first trial sentencing hearing for Kim Ho-jung's case, which was heard by Judge Choi Min-hye of the Seoul Central District Court Criminal Division 26. The charges include dangerous driving causing injury and hit-and-run causing injury under the Act on the Aggravated Punishment of Specific Crimes, failure to take measures after an accident under the Road Traffic Act, and aiding the escape of a criminal.
