GH, Gwangmyeong Hagon 3 Blocks Public Housing Project Private Developer Recruitment Gyeonggi Housing and Urban Corporation

Gyeonggi Housing and Urban Corporation (GH) is inviting private sector participants for the public housing project involving three blocks (S1~S3) within the Gwangmyeong Hakon Public Housing District.

Block S1 consists of a total of 1,353 units, including 1,079 public sale housing units and 274 integrated public rental housing units, and the private sector participant will be selected through a single competition.

Notably, Block S1 is GH’s first fully mixed social mix housing complex that eliminates the distinction between sale and rental housing, designing rental units to the same standards as sale units to provide high-quality public housing.

Blocks S2 and S3 consist of 374 and 939 units respectively and will be supplied as integrated public rental housing to ensure housing stability for various social groups. These will be promoted through an integrated (package) competition.

The Gwangmyeong Hakon public housing project for the three blocks introduces the concept of ‘GH Spatial Welfare Home.’ It aims to realize GH’s unique spatial welfare by forming an integrated community across Blocks S1 to S3, specializing commercial spaces, and providing customized welfare and housing services for residents.

GH will collaborate with various architects, including GH public architects and emerging architects, to present differentiated design plans by specializing designs for each building (including community spaces). The ‘Home GH Round’ specialized design elements, which conceptualize the living environment as a spatial background, also attract attention.

Home GH Round refers to GH’s signature community service spaces. It incorporates various elements such as ‘GH Rugali,’ a garden that alleviates urban life stress; ‘GH Neulnamu,’ a senior center equipped with cultural and health management systems; and ‘GH Deuk GH Deuk,’ a seasonal storage space utilizing underground areas.

The competition announcement will begin on the 30th of this month, with letters of intent due by October 7 and business application commitments by October 23.

Applications for Block S1 are due by November 29, and for Blocks S2 and S3 by December 2.
