Digital Healthcare Partners Hosts 'DHP Demo Day 2024'

Digital healthcare startup-focused investment firm Digital Healthcare Partners (DHP) announced on the 30th that it will hold ‘DHP Demo Day 2024’ on the 11th of next month at the Korea Science and Technology Center in Gangnam-gu, Seoul.

Started in 2017, DHP Demo Day is an event that showcases startups invested in and nurtured by DHP, while also sharing DHP’s insights. This event features keynote speeches by industry opinion leaders along with presentations from eight startups invested in by DHP. Yoonseop Choi, DHP’s managing partner, will deliver the opening keynote speech on the theme ‘The Future of DHP and Digital Healthcare,’ followed by a keynote from Seungwook Baek, co-founder and chairman of the medical AI company Lunit, on the topic ‘Lessons Learned from Founding Lunit.’

Part 1 consists of presentations from four newly invested digital healthcare startups by DHP. Starting with Fixup Health, a remote rehabilitation monitoring platform, followed by Jamjam Therapeutics, an augmented reality (AR)-based rehabilitation game for infants and toddlers, MindHub, a cognitive impairment rehabilitation platform for brain disease patients, and MyHub, a medical AI service platform, each will present in turn. In Part 2, four companies from DHP’s existing portfolio that are beginning to raise investment will present. These include Edmic Bio, which develops 3D organ chips mimicking human organs; Bosalppim, a senior care platform; Orange Biomed, a point-of-care testing (POCT) medical device for glycated hemoglobin measurement; and Newbase, a medical practice platform utilizing a meta-hospital.

DHP Demo Day aims to be a festival ground where various members of the healthcare ecosystem?including venture investors, startups, the medical community, pharmaceutical industry, industrial sector, and academia?can participate and network.
