Giheung-gu Health Center Weekend 'Healing Walk Plogging Tour' Held
Suji and Cheoin-gu Health Centers Visit Companies for Health Consultations

Public health centers in Yongin-si, Gyeonggi-do, are attracting attention by operating various health programs for busy office workers.


According to Yongin-si on the 30th, Giheung-gu Public Health Center conducted a "Healing Walk Plogging Tour" for participants in the "Mobile Healthcare Project" on the 26th and 28th. Participants walked along the Singalcheon walkway from Giheung-gu Public Health Center to Gangnam University Station while picking up trash. This event, held on Saturdays for office workers, also included missions that families could participate in together.

This year, 181 citizens with high cholesterol and blood sugar levels requiring management from blood tests applied for the Giheung-gu Public Health Center's Mobile Healthcare Project. The health center provides customized health management information through a specialized health team consisting of five members: doctors, nurses, nutritionists, exercise experts, and coordinators.


Suji-gu Public Health Center conducted mobile healthcare health checkups on the weekends of the 21st and 28th for those who find it difficult to participate on weekdays. The health center is also conducting on-site mobile healthcare health checkups and customized consultations at the Doosan Technical Institute workplace.


Cheoin-gu Public Health Center is also providing health consultations and examination services by visiting three workplaces?Yongin University, CJ Logistics, and Samsung C&T Everland?through its visiting office worker mobile healthcare project.


A representative from Giheung-gu Public Health Center said, "We will prepare diverse and interesting programs to encourage local residents to practice healthy lifestyle habits."
