Reservations Available on Health Center Website from 2 Weeks in Advance ▲Osteoporosis ▲Health Checkup ▲Oriental Medicine ▲Dental Treatment ▲Physical Therapy ▲Cardiovascular Calcification ▲Advance Medical Directive in 7 Areas
Contributing to Administrative Efficiency and Improving Civil Service Convenience... Phone and In-Person Reservations Also Operated Simultaneously
Songpa-gu (Mayor Seo Gang-seok) announced that it will operate the ‘Public Health Center Integrated Reservation Management System,’ which allows easy online medical appointment booking, starting in October.
The new reservation system built on the Public Health Center’s website completed a pilot operation throughout September and will officially begin accepting appointments in seven medical service areas from October: ▲osteoporosis tests ▲health checkups ▲Korean medicine treatment ▲dental treatment ▲physical therapy ▲cardiovascular arteriosclerosis tests ▲physical therapy ▲and advance medical directive registration.
As a result, residents can now make reservations online using a PC or mobile phone without having to call or visit during the Public Health Center’s business hours. Notably, to enhance accessibility, QR codes have been provided to allow direct access to webpages for each of the seven medical service areas.
The more convenient new system was developed to allow users to easily check availability by date and time slot at a glance. Medical appointments can be scheduled up to two weeks (14 days) from the reservation date, and test results can be checked later without visiting the Public Health Center through the ‘Check Test Results’ menu. Upon completing a reservation, a confirmation text message is sent to verify the appointment.
With the reservation tasks, previously operated purely by manpower, now computerized, administrative efficiency has greatly improved. The district plans to actively utilize the new reservation system for various administrative purposes, including reservation management, daily settlement, and statistical data analysis. However, to protect sensitive personal medical information, users must complete membership registration or identity verification via mobile phone before making a reservation. For digitally marginalized groups who may face difficulties with these procedures, the district will continue to offer existing phone and in-person reservation options.
Seo Gang-seok, Mayor of Songpa-gu, stated, “We are gradually expanding the application of the latest technologies across all administrative tasks to enable smarter administrative work,” and added, “We will continue to take the lead in providing advanced public health services with the health of our residents as the top priority.”
