The Nation's Largest One-Make Race N Festival
Supporting Motorsports Culture... Also Checking Event Status
Chung Euisun, Chairman of Hyundai Motor Group, personally visited the Hyundai N Festival venue held at Everland Speedway in Yongin, Gyeonggi Province on the 28th to tour the site and spend time with participants.
The Hyundai N Festival is the largest one-make race event in Korea. One-make races are competitions using the same car model, and this year’s event was held for the first time based on Hyundai’s first high-performance electric vehicle, the Ioniq 5 N.

Chairman Chung was reported to have had candid and informal conversations with the drivers and customers attending the event. In his opening remarks, he delivered messages of support and encouragement for the development of domestic motorsports culture. It was reported that many spectators responded enthusiastically.
He also personally inspected the event zones outside the racetrack where customers could enjoy motorsports culture, as well as auxiliary facilities for customer convenience. Hyundai first unveiled the N brand at the motor show held in Germany in 2015, and that date is commemorated as the N brand’s birthday (September 15). Since Chairman Chung joined the company’s management team, Hyundai has actively focused on motorsports.

The Hyundai N Festival consists of a total of six rounds, taking place in Yongin, Inje, Yeongam, and other locations, with races continuing until November. The eN1 is Korea’s first electric vehicle racing competition based on the 650-horsepower Ioniq 5 N; the N1 is a professional racing competition featuring the race-dedicated Avante N; and the N2 is a one-make race competition enjoyed with the standard Avante N.
