Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education Conducts Customized Practice-Centered Training for 40 Teachers by Career Stage
Hands-On Training Including Short-Term Learning Understanding, Material Development, and Program Planning and Production
Second Training Session Scheduled for October... Instructors to Serve for Field Teachers
Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education is conducting a digital competency enhancement training on the 27th to support 'Gyeonggi-Teacher Creators.' Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education (Superintendent Lim Tae-hee) announced on the 29th that it operated a digital competency enhancement training session on the 27th to support the ‘Gyeonggi-Teacher Creators’.
This training was conducted for the first cohort of 40 teachers selected through a call for applications earlier this month. To enable timely development of various educational materials, the participants were divided into eight subgroups, and the training was designed as a field-customized program.
The main contents included △ Understanding of microlearning △ Communication time △ Planning and production process of materials (basic and advanced) △ Subgroup activities for material development.
After the training, each subgroup will continuously collaborate on planning and production directions for microlearning educational materials to support the creation of materials needed in the field.
Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education plans to conduct a second training session in October for these participants. After completing a total of 20 hours of in-person training, they plan to promote training instructor activities targeting field teachers interested in teacher creator activities.
Lee Jeong-hyun, Director of the Education Competency Policy Division at the Provincial Office of Education, said, “The Gyeonggi-Teacher Creators will enhance teachers’ digital competencies and support their self-directed growth,” adding, “We will continue to strive to expand training opportunities so that teacher creators can carry out various activities in the educational field.”
