County Governor Ham Myeong-jun: "Providing More Satisfactory Spaces by Listening to Residents' Opinions"
Goseong-gun, Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province (Governor Ham Myeong-jun) announced on the 28th that the Geumgang Nuri Center will begin pilot operations starting Wednesday, October 2, ahead of its official opening.

The Geumgang Nuri Center in Goseong-gun was built with a total project cost of 12 billion KRW, including 8 billion KRW in national funding, on a 4,986㎡ site at 219-7, Geojin-ri, Geojin-eup, Goseong-gun. The facility consists of one basement floor and two above-ground floors (total floor area 2,985㎡) and includes various cultural and welfare facilities such as a book cafe, shared childcare space, kids cafe, rest area for military personnel, and meeting rooms.
The pilot operation will open all major facilities within the center, including the kids playground, screen park golf practice range, and book cafe, providing visitors with the opportunity to experience various programs and facilities in advance.
Previously, the Geumgang Nuri Center began a preliminary pilot operation for the kids playground starting September 23, opening some facilities to children-related organizations and children in third grade and below in elementary school.

Ham Myeong-jun, Governor of Goseong-gun, stated, “Through this pilot operation, we will listen to the voices of various groups and incorporate their opinions to provide a more satisfying space for residents.” He added, “We ask for the active interest and use of the citizens so that the Geumgang Nuri Center can establish itself as an important cultural and welfare hub in Goseong-gun.”
