National Health Insurance Service Busan Ulsan Gyeongnam Branch Donates InBody Devices to Medically Underserved Groups

Support for Health Check During Free Medical Service by Pusan National University Hospital Volunteer Group

The Busan Ulsan Gyeongnam Regional Headquarters of the National Health Insurance Service (headed by Choi Deokgeun) has donated an InBody device to the Unbong Community Welfare Center (located in Bansong-dong, Haeundae-gu) to promote the health of local residents.

This donation aims to support the health management of medically underserved groups and to take the lead in improving healthcare conditions in underprivileged areas.

The InBody device will be used during free medical services provided by the Ami Medical Volunteer Group, affiliated with Busan National University Hospital, at the Unbong Community Welfare Center every Tuesday to Friday and on Saturdays each month. Through body composition analysis, the device will help assess individuals' health status and provide customized health consultations, thereby supporting more effective health management.

The donation ceremony was held on the morning of the 27th in conjunction with the 32nd anniversary celebration of the Unbong Community Welfare Center. Over 300 people, including the head of administrative support at the National Health Insurance Service, the vice president of Busan National University Hospital, and local residents, attended the event.

Choi Deokgeun, the head of the regional headquarters, said, "I am proud that we can support our neighbors in need throughout the region," and added, "We will do our best to realize the social value of the organization by contributing to the health improvement of medically underserved groups."
