Pocheon City Appoints Singer Kim Seongjun and Actor Yoon Taeyong as Public Ambassadors

Pocheon City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Baek Young-hyun) appointed singer Kim Seong-jun and actor Yoon Tae-yong as ambassadors for Pocheon City at the mayor's office on the 27th.

Singer Kim Seong-jun, a graduate of Pocheon Middle School and Pocheon Il High School, gained public attention by appearing on the audition program "Tomorrow's National Singer." Since 2019, he has actively continued his music career by releasing six albums. The city expects him to play an important role in widely promoting Pocheon's diverse culture and arts.

Yoon Tae-yong, a graduate of Daegyeong Middle School and Songwoo High School, is an actor and popular YouTuber. He has taken on various roles in dramas and plays and is currently a member of the popular YouTube channel "Ddeep Deep," which has 1.25 million subscribers. The city anticipates that he will greatly contribute to introducing Pocheon's attractive tourist spots and local resources.

Kim Seong-jun and Yoon Tae-yong said, "We will actively participate in various festivals and events held in Pocheon and take the lead in creating related content to promote Pocheon through diverse activities."

Mayor Baek Young-hyun of Pocheon said, "As ambassadors of Pocheon City, I look forward to the significant roles of Ambassador Kim Seong-jun and Ambassador Yoon Tae-yong," adding, "I ask for their active efforts to widely promote Pocheon's attractions, including tourist sites and agricultural specialties."
