Dankook University Startup Incubation Center, Awarded Top S Grade in Management Evaluation for 4 Consecutive Years

Received S Grade in Evaluation Hosted by Gyeonggi-do

Dankook University Startup Incubation Center received the highest rating, ‘S Grade,’ for the fourth consecutive year in the '2024 Startup Incubation Center Management Evaluation.'


The Startup Incubation Center Management Evaluation, hosted by Gyeonggi Province, is conducted annually to assess the management performance of startup incubation centers within the province and to establish criteria for subsidy support. A total of 39 startup incubation centers in Gyeonggi Province participated in this evaluation.


This evaluation comprehensively assessed ▲the employment growth rate of resident companies ▲the sales growth rate of resident companies ▲the degree of linkage with startup support projects ▲the employment performance of dedicated personnel ▲the registration performance of intellectual property rights ▲the performance in attracting investment and support funds ▲the participation performance in support systems for domestic and international market development.


Dankook University Startup Incubation Center received high marks in areas such as the activation performance of government and local government startup support projects for resident companies, the excellent startup support capabilities and infrastructure of dedicated personnel, the intellectual property registration performance of resident companies, the investment attraction performance of resident companies, and the support systems and participation performance for market development including domestic and international exhibitions and fairs.

Dankook University provides multifaceted support to students, faculty, and resident companies with innovative ideas. Since 2014, it has been selected for the Ministry of SMEs and Startups' 'Initial Startup Package Project' to support startups. Additionally, this year, it was consecutively selected for ▲KDB Startup Education Program ▲Small Business Digital Specialized University ▲Specialized Competency Startup Incubation Promotion Support Project ▲Idea Commercialization Support Project.


President An Soon-cheol of Dankook University stated, "Being selected for the ‘S Grade’ in the Startup Incubation Center Management Evaluation for four consecutive years is a recognition of Dankook University’s achievements in planning unique startup incubation programs that support the success of resident companies." He added, "We will continue to focus all our capabilities on providing substantial startup support services as a hub for the success of prospective entrepreneurs and resident companies."
