10,000 Gather at Duryu Park in Daegu for 'Volunteer Expo'... Rice and Ramen Worth 46 Million Won Delivered to Underprivileged

Daegu City held the 18th Daegu Volunteer Expo on the 27th at the Duryu Park Inline Skating Rink.

About 10,000 citizens participated in the expo, experiencing volunteer activities related to sharing warmth, safety, and disaster relief. They also enjoyed various events such as talent donation performances by volunteers, the "Warmth Sharing Daegu! Certification Photo Experience" program, and the "Traditional and Multicultural Play Experience Zone."

A volunteer fair is being held at Duryu Park in Daegu.

As part of the Warmth Sharing Campaign organized by the Daegu Volunteer Center, the "Sharing Warmth, Sharing Love" donation event collected rice and ramen worth about 46 million won (with participation from over 120 organizations and individuals). These donations will be delivered to free meal centers and underprivileged groups after the expo.

Kim Sunjo, Deputy Mayor for Administrative Affairs of Daegu City, who attended the event, said, "I would like to thank the 760,000 volunteers who have quietly practiced sharing and volunteering to make Daegu a happier city. I hope that through this expo, more citizens will be encouraged to participate in volunteer activities."
