This campaign is a nationwide social movement initiated by the Ministry of Health and Welfare and the Child Rights Protection Agency. The two organizations planned the campaign to raise awareness about child abuse prevention and positive parenting.
The campaign continues in a relay format, where the previous participant nominates the next participant.
President Lee joined the campaign after being nominated by President Yoo Kyung-dong of Methodist Theological University. He nominated President Kim Wook of Paichai University as the next participant.
President Lee said, "Social roles must be supported so that children, who are our future, can grow up in a safe and healthy environment," and added, "Mokwon University will strive not only to fulfill its primary function as an educational institution but also to contribute to realizing proper social values."
