A vehicle handing a drink to a sanitation worker on the way to work was captured, creating a heartwarming scene.

On the 26th, an online community, Bobae Dream, posted a dashcam video titled "To the sanitation worker on the way to work." The released video shows a black passenger car waiting at a signal on a four-lane road at 6:31 a.m. on the 25th, and a sanitation worker sweeping grass clippings after finishing weeding on the sidewalk right next to it.

At that moment, a passenger reached out through the front passenger window, shaking a plastic bag toward the sanitation worker. The poster, Mr. A, recalled, "I thought it was annoying that they were busy cleaning but still asked to throw away their trash."

However, Mr. A soon realized his assumption was wrong. When the sanitation worker approached, the passenger took the plastic bag back inside the car and took out only a drink from the bag to hand to the sanitation worker. It was not a gesture to throw away trash but to offer a drink. The sanitation worker bowed their head in thanks after receiving the drink and returned to the sidewalk.

Mr. A said, "Judging by how the bag was held from the bottom when first offered, I think there was probably a drink inside the bag. When actually giving it, they might have thought throwing away the bag would be a hassle, so they took out only the drink to give. They are amazing people." He added, "I don't know who they are, but they were a resident of the same apartment. It made me feel proud."

Netizens who saw the video responded warmly with comments such as "I was about to curse but felt awkward," "You aimed for a twist," "A feel-good video," "Amazing to do this on a busy commute," "This is the real face of Korea," "My curse got stuck in my throat," and "Thumbs up for heartwarming videos."
