Designation of Autonomous Safety Activity Promotion Tasks

Bando Construction announced on the 27th that it will carry out the Zero Accident 100-Day Campaign until the end of the year to achieve zero major accidents for seven consecutive years.

Bando Construction to Conduct '100 Days of Zero Accidents Campaign' Until Year-End Bando Construction announced on the 27th that it will start a 100-day accident-free campaign at all sites until the end of the year.

This 'Zero Accident 100-Day Campaign' will be conducted for 100 days at construction sites nationwide where Bando Construction is working. Bando Construction has recorded zero major accidents for six consecutive years since 2019.

Bando Construction held a proclamation ceremony for the Zero Accident 100-Day Campaign and conducted risk assessment training at sites nationwide. They formed a consensus on win-win management and safety management by awarding commendations to outstanding workers and partner companies.

Along with this, autonomous safety activity tasks (scaffolding and ladders, passageways, construction equipment) were designated, and support is provided so that site executives, employees, and partner companies can practice autonomous safety and health activities. At the end of the year, the results of the activities will be analyzed to prepare measures for accident prevention and response.

As a result of the Zero Accident 100-Day Campaign, awards will also be given to sites excelling in safety and health. Outstanding executives, employees, and partner companies will be separately selected to receive commendations and awards, reaffirming the importance of safety and strengthening the meaning of coexistence.

Lee Jeong-ryeol, Head of the Construction Division at Bando Construction, said, "Safety at construction sites can only be maintained through joint efforts with partner companies who work hard together. Based on cooperation with partner companies, we plan to prevent safety accidents in advance by practicing compliance with the three basic principles, which have the highest accident frequency on site, and making safety inspections a daily habit."
