Coway Ranks No.1 in Water Purifier and Bed Categories at '2024 KCSI'

No.1 in Water Purifier Category for 8 Consecutive Years
No.1 in Bed Category for 4 Consecutive Years

Coway announced on the 27th that it was selected as the No. 1 brand in the water purifier category for 8 consecutive years and in the bed category for 4 consecutive years in the ‘2024 Korea Customer Satisfaction Index (KCSI)’ survey conducted by the Korea Management Association Consulting.


KCSI is an index that indicates the level of customer satisfaction with products and services by industry, announcing the most preferred companies and products by customers through annual consumer surveys.

Coway, which won first place in the water purifier category, received high scores in all areas of the KCSI consumer survey, including overall satisfaction, element satisfaction, and repurchase intention. In particular, it showed a significant score gap with competitors in detailed items such as water taste and quality of the water purifier and satisfaction with care services.


As the importance of water purifier hygiene has emerged, Coway strengthened its care services by operating a ‘Total Care Service’ provided by water purifier hygiene experts and introducing a ‘Water Purifier Sterilization Kit.’ It received high evaluations for meeting customer needs through systematic hygiene services, such as one-time ‘Codi Visit Care Service’ for self-managing customers.


In the bed category, Coway was also selected as No. 1 by achieving the highest score ever with a customer satisfaction index of 83.9 points. In this survey, Coway received high scores across all evaluation items, including mattress quality, care service satisfaction, and company reliability. In particular, it achieved a significantly higher score than competitors in the price competitiveness category, proving consumer satisfaction with Coway’s mattress rental care service.


In 2011, Coway introduced the mattress care service, the first in Korea to offer beds for rent at reasonable prices along with regular services, receiving positive responses from users. Since then, it has introduced various innovative products centered on 'BEREX,' a specialized brand for sleep and healing care.
