This campaign was organized to prevent accidents and raise workers' safety awareness in response to the recent increase in large-scale disasters in Ulsan, such as fires, explosions, suffocation, poisoning, and leaks during repair and maintenance work in chemical plants and construction projects at small and medium-sized factories.

In particular, the campaign placed special emphasis on the Tool Box Meeting (TBM), an activity where workers gather near the site before starting work, led by the team leader, to discuss and confirm the day's tasks and safe work methods. Through this campaign, it is expected to contribute to raising safety awareness among both primary and subcontracted workers during the regular maintenance period at plant sites.

Jin Chanho, Head of the Ulsan Regional Headquarters of the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency, stressed, "Since regular maintenance and inspections at chemical plants always involve risks, it is essential to comply with standard safety rules. Let us all, both S-OIL and its partner companies, work together with one heart and do our utmost to fulfill our roles and responsibilities for safety."

Kim Kyungtae, Head of Maintenance at S-OIL, said, "With the participation of the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency, maintenance partners, and S-OIL in the safety campaign, this is a great opportunity to reaffirm S-OIL's safety-first culture." He added, "Through the safety campaign, we are focusing on cultivating a safety culture so that all employees and partner company workers always keep safety as their top priority."
