K Bank is collaborating with Dunamu and BC Card to develop financial products and services.
On the 27th, K Bank announced that it signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) for service linkage and joint marketing promotion among K Bank, Dunamu, and BC Card at its headquarters located in Euljiro, Jung-gu, Seoul. The signing ceremony was attended by Choi Woo-hyung, CEO of K Bank, Lee Seok-woo, CEO of Dunamu, and Choi Won-seok, President of BC Card.
According to the MOU, the three companies plan to provide innovative financial services for their customers based on K Bank's mobile banking experience, BC Card's payment processing infrastructure, and Dunamu's leadership in the virtual asset market. In particular, they will join forces to enhance and jointly market installment investment services for virtual assets.
Through this business agreement, the three companies will further expand their cooperation in planning and developing partnership projects.
Choi Woo-hyung, CEO of K Bank, said, "K Bank has been committed to establishing a stable virtual asset market through real-name verification deposit and withdrawal service partnerships. Based on this partnership, the three companies will take the lead in creating a safer and more reliable virtual asset trading environment through joint services and marketing."
Meanwhile, K Bank, Dunamu, and BC Card have been collaborating in various ways. Since 2020, K Bank has been working with Dunamu to open real-name accounts for virtual assets. This month, in partnership with Dunamu, K Bank launched the country's first service that allows customers to check the types and balances of virtual assets (Upbit) they hold. Additionally, services such as unlisted stock price inquiry and virtual asset price inquiry are also provided through collaboration with Dunamu.
With BC Card, K Bank has been cooperating on projects such as the launch of private label credit cards (PLCC) and partnerships with Paybook.
