Expansion of Infrastructure with 56 Directly Managed Branches Including Weekly Care Centers and Home Visit Nursing Centers
Senior care specialist company Caring announced on the 27th that it will establish an integrated home care Chungcheong Headquarters in the Daejeon area following Busan and Gwangju, and participate in the National Health Insurance Service's short-term care pilot project.
Caring is building an integrated home care infrastructure centered on day care centers to allow various nursing services such as home visit care, day care, and short-term care to be used at a single long-term care institution. The Chungcheong Headquarters has decided to prioritize providing the insufficient short-term care services in the region. The short-term care pilot project is a program that provides short-term care services for a certain period at day and night care institutions when families cannot protect beneficiaries due to reasons such as hospitalization or travel. As of September, there are only six institutions providing short-term care services in the Chungcheong area.
Caring plans to place full-time nurses at the Chungcheong Headquarters day care center to respond to emergencies and offer specialized health management services. To provide high-quality care services, they also recruited Sumi Jeong, a local community care expert and head of the Chungcheong Headquarters. Since 2009, Head Jeong has operated various care institutions such as home visit care, home nursing, and day and night care centers, gaining extensive experience in multiple fields. Head Jeong said, “Based on 15 years of experience operating care institutions, we will introduce care services that guardians can trust throughout the Chungcheong area.”
With the establishment of the Chungcheong Headquarters, Caring now has integrated home care regional infrastructure nationwide except for the Gangwon area. Currently, they operate a total of 56 directly managed branches, including 26 day care centers, 24 home visit care centers, 4 caregiver training centers, and 2 welfare equipment centers in the Seoul metropolitan area, Yeongnam region, Honam region, and Chungcheong region, and plan to build over 100 care infrastructures by next year.
