AMCHAM announced on the 27th that the delegation successfully completed the Washington D.C. Door Knock during their visit to Washington D.C. from the 9th to the 12th. During this period, the delegation met with 10 U.S. government agencies, including 14 offices of the House and Senate, the White House National Economic Council (NEC), and the Vice President's Office. The delegation included LG Energy Solution, POSCO, BAE Systems, Corning, Google, Lockheed Martin, Intuitive Surgical Korea, Samil PwC, and UPS.

During the Door Knock schedule, the delegation met with key U.S. government and congressional officials, as well as senior figures from think tanks, to discuss ways to sustain and strengthen the Korea-U.S. economic partnership. They emphasized Korea's role in global supply chain resilience and highlighted the importance of policy stability and regulatory certainty to attract long-term investment and enhance Korea's competitiveness as a business hub.

James Kim, Chairman of AMCHAM, said, "It was encouraging to firmly confirm a strong consensus that the Korea-U.S. relationship remains important regardless of the U.S. presidential election results," adding, "All the key policymakers we met had no doubt that the Republic of Korea is expanding its influence globally beyond the Asia-Pacific region."

He continued, "U.S. government officials and analysts almost unanimously stated that Korea's role in industrial cooperation, especially in strategic sectors, will be important amid intensifying U.S.-China competition."
