Samsung Electronics announced on the 27th that the Korean release date for the new tablet models 'Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra' and 'Galaxy Tab S10+' has been confirmed for the 4th of next month. The global release will begin on the 3rd of next month (local time), with sequential launches planned in the US, Europe, Latin America, and Southeast Asia.
The 'Galaxy Tab S10 series' features ▲Dynamic AMOLED 2X display ▲MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ processor. Additionally, it includes ▲AI optimized for large screens ▲expanded AI creative functions ▲and SmartThings' '3D Map View.'
Mincheol Lee, Executive Vice President and Head of the Galaxy Eco Business Team at Samsung Electronics MX Division, said, "The Galaxy Tab S10 series is a premium tablet that offers a next-level AI experience," adding, "Users will experience significantly enhanced AI capabilities in creative activities and more."
The CPU of the 'Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra' has improved by approximately 18%, the GPU by about 28%, and the NPU by around 14% compared to its predecessor.
The screen sizes of the 'Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra' and 'Galaxy Tab S10 Plus' are 369.9 mm (14.6 inches) and 315.0 mm (12.4 inches), respectively, and both models are equipped with 'Dynamic AMOLED 2X' displays.
The displays of the 'Galaxy Tab S10 series' feature anti-reflective (AR) coating to reduce glare. An AI-based 'Clear Voice Listening' function is also applied. This feature amplifies the speaker's voice in the video being watched while reducing some background noise, allowing users to hear the audio more clearly.
They support IP68-rated water and dust resistance and use 'Armor Aluminum' material, enabling use in various environments.
The 'Galaxy Tab S10 series' offers 'Galaxy AI' functions optimized for the large tablet screen.
Through the 'Note Assist' feature in the 'Samsung Notes' app, voice recordings can be instantly converted to text and translated or summarized. The 'PDF Overlay Translation' function allows easy translation of foreign language documents without copying and pasting text into a separate translator.
With the 'Circle to Search' feature, users can search images and videos on the large screen while simultaneously translating text and performing multiple tasks at once.
The 'Galaxy Tab S10 series' comes with the 'S Pen' as a standard accessory, providing an experience similar to writing on paper with a real pen. Using the S Pen's 'Sketch Conversion' feature in the Gallery or 'Samsung Notes' app, simple sketches can be transformed into refined images.
Various third-party apps are also supported. Using ▲the drawing app 'Clip Studio Paint' ▲the video editing app 'LumaFusion' ▲and the design editing app 'PicsArt,' users can easily create and edit content.
The separately sold 'Book Cover Keyboard' includes a 'Galaxy AI Key' that can summon 'Bixby' or 'Google Gemini.' Users can quickly and easily call AI and perform multitasking through the 'Galaxy AI Key.'
With the '3D Map View' feature, users can check information about their home at a glance on the tablet screen. For example, they can easily view connected Samsung device information such as home temperature, humidity, air quality, and energy usage.
The 'Galaxy Tab S10 series' will be released in two colors: 'Moonstone Gray' and 'Platinum Silver.' The domestic release price will be announced later.
