A woman washing her hair with shampoo inside a moving subway train in China has sparked outrage among local netizens.

According to recent reports from local media such as Hangzhou Daily, on the 11th, during rush hour on a subway in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province in southern China, a woman was seen washing her hair. The woman's unreasonable behavior has drawn strong criticism from Chinese netizens.

The released video shows a woman taking shampoo out of her bag in a crowded subway, then scooping some into her hand and rubbing it into her hair to create foam. A man accompanying the woman held up a phone in the direction she was sitting, and the woman looked at her reflection on the phone screen while washing her hair. Another companion was holding a shower ball in their hand.

Passengers on the subway glanced at the woman washing her hair with curiosity. One passenger sitting next to her moved to a seat at the far end to keep distance. Some passengers even took out their phones to record the woman.

A subway official who arrived after receiving complaints gestured to the woman to stop washing her hair and tried to restrain her behavior, but the woman paid no attention. Instead, she seemed to enjoy the situation, laughing loudly and showing a big smile.

Local netizens who saw the video reacted sharply, saying things like "Washing hair in a public place? Are you sane?" "Is only your own right important?" "Don't infringe on others' rights," "Such a selfish person," "Does she think this is her home bathroom?" "What about the companions who didn't stop her?" "If I were with her, I would have been so embarrassed I ran away," "What happened to the foam afterward?" "The floor must have gotten slippery," "This is really a nuisance," and so on.
