Theory and Practical Training from October, Accident Prevention
Healthy Sports Culture Expected to Take Root
Changwon Facilities Corporation in Gyeongnam will conduct safety education for beginner park golf players to prevent safety accidents and promote a sound park golf culture.
The education will be held starting this October at the Daesan-myeon Administrative Welfare Center classroom in Uichang-gu (for theoretical education) and at Daesan Park Golf Course (for practical training).
The corporation will utilize professional instructors who hold specialized park golf certificates to provide professional and systematic education.
The education will take place over two days each month, on the third Tuesday (10:00 AM to 12:00 PM) and Wednesday (9:00 AM to 1:00 PM).
On Tuesdays, theoretical education will cover the basic concepts and rules of park golf, as well as equipment usage. On Wednesdays, practical training will be conducted on the actual ground, including basic posture and swing practice, strategies for each course, and real-game experiences.
Anyone who uses the park golf course can apply, and registration is accepted on a first-come, first-served basis either through the corporation's website or on-site. There is no tuition fee.
Chairman Kim Jonghae said, "Through this education, I hope that beginners will gain a basic understanding and practical experience of park golf, which will help prevent safety accidents and establish a healthy sports culture."
