Exchange Between Companies of Both Countries... Expected to Contribute to Domestic IT Industry Workforce Supply

Gyeongbuk Technopark operated the Korea Pavilion corporate exhibition hall and hosted the Korea-Uzbekistan ICT Business Partnership Forum at the CAEx Exhibition Center in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, during ‘ICT Week Uzbekistan 2024’ from June 17 to 20.

Expanding the Horizons of the IT Industry... Gyeongbuk TP Participates in Uzbekistan 'ICT Week 2024' Gyeongbuk Technopark held the Korea-Uzbekistan ICT Business Partnership Forum at the CAEx Exhibition Center in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, from the 17th to the 20th, and is taking a commemorative photo.

This event was part of a support program under the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA)’s ‘Foundation Building and Capacity Strengthening PMC Project for the Sustainable Growth of Uzbekistan IT Park’.


Main activities included the operation of the Korea Pavilion corporate exhibition hall, the Korea-Uzbekistan ICT Business Partnership Forum, Korea-Uzbekistan B2B meetings, and Korea-Uzbekistan corporate networking events, facilitating active business networking between Korean and Uzbek companies.


The event was attended by 15 Korean IT companies, including Hancom, as well as resident companies of Uzbekistan IT Park and Korean IT companies hoping to enter the park.


Ha Inseong, President of Gyeongbuk Technopark, stated, “Exchange and cooperation between Uzbekistan and Korea in IT outsourcing and other areas serve as effective examples of collaboration for nurturing IT talent and achieving mutual growth in the IT industry. We will continue to provide ongoing support.”
