Hanam City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Lee Hyun-jae) will participate in the '10th Jipconomy Expo 2024,' the largest real estate exhibition in Korea, held at COEX for two days from the 27th to the 28th, to vigorously promote key urban development projects including Gyosan New Town to major domestic and international companies and investors.

This year’s Jipconomy Expo is expected to operate about 40 booths with participation from various public institutions such as Hanam City, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, Korea Land & Housing Corporation (LH), and Seoul Housing & Communities Corporation (SH).

Hanam City and Hanam Urban Corporation will jointly operate a booth under the theme “Changing Transportation, Evolving Policies, Real Estate Investment Strategies,” explaining Hanam City’s unique investment advantages such as ▲the best transportation network ▲excellent living infrastructure ▲corporate investment incentives to domestic and international companies and investors.

They will also introduce ongoing urban development projects such as Gyosan New Town, Camp Colburn, and K-Star World, and provide customized investment consultations tailored to companies and investors. In this process, the ‘Hanam City Investment Attraction Team,’ composed of experts in various fields, will actively participate to attract corporate investments.

Additionally, Hanam City plans to introduce the current status of various administrative and financial support foundations established to create a ‘business-friendly city,’ including the enactment of the ‘Hanam City Ordinance on Corporate Investment Attraction and Support’ last August to provide a basis for incentives, the establishment of a Corporate Attraction Center, and the provision of one-stop services that shorten various administrative procedures.

Mayor Lee Hyun-jae stated, “We are participating in the ‘Jipconomy Expo,’ the largest real estate exhibition in Korea, to build a self-sufficient city with an urban foundation like Gangnam through successful corporate attraction,” adding, “Through this opportunity, we will actively promote Hanam’s excellent investment environment and urban development projects to gain domestic and international recognition for the city brand as a ‘business-friendly city.’”

Meanwhile, Hanam City has achieved results in attracting companies such as mid-sized company Seohee Construction, PXG’s golf equipment manufacturer Kane and Roger Nine R&D Center, BC Card R&D Center, and Lotte Medical Foundation Bobath Hospital through active corporate investment attraction efforts.
