BNK Gyeongnam Bank Donates 50 Million Won in Sponsorship to Gyeongsangnam-do Sports Council

Discussion on Various Measures for the Successful Hosting of the National Sports Festival

BNK Kyongnam Bank is making every effort to ensure the successful hosting of the National Sports Festival held in Gyeongnam.


On the 26th, BNK Kyongnam Bank donated a sponsorship fund of 50 million KRW to the Gyeongsangnam-do Sports Council for the successful hosting of the 105th National Sports Festival.

Executive Director Heo Jonggu visited the Gyeongsangnam-do Sports Council and delivered the 'Certificate of Sponsorship Fund Donation' to Chairman Kim Oyong, discussing various measures for the successful hosting of the National Sports Festival.


Changwon Branch Executive Director Heo stated, "I hope the passion and excitement of the Paris Olympics will once again be conveyed to Gimhae and the Gyeongnam region, where the 105th National Sports Festival will be held. I wish the athletes representing Gyeongnam will do their best in every match, and all BNK Kyongnam Bank employees and local residents will always support them. I hope the sponsorship fund will be well used for the successful hosting of the National Sports Festival."


Currently, BNK Kyongnam Bank President Ye Kyungtak is serving as the President of the Gyeongsangnam-do Athletics Federation and is actively working for the development of sports in Gyeongnam, including athletics, a fundamental sport.


BNK Kyongnam Bank, which donates development funds to the Gyeongsangnam-do Athletics Federation every year, delivered 90 million KRW in development funds in the first half of this year.


Meanwhile, BNK Kyongnam Bank is also carrying out a large-scale 'Relay Volunteer Activity for the Successful Hosting of the National Sports Festival' in addition to the sponsorship fund donation.


In particular, on the 28th, President Ye Kyungtak, executives and employees, as well as Gimhae Mayor Hong Taeyong and about 450 participants, will conduct an environmental cleanup volunteer activity in preparation for the 105th National Sports Festival at Gimhae Sports Complex and the Samgye-dong area.
