Gathering Bid Graphs and Real-Time Issues on the Chart

Kakao Pay Securities has significantly revamped the stock information screen of its Mobile Trading System (MTS). The interface has been improved to allow users to easily check trading-related information, current status, and real-time issues for each stock, enabling easier access to investment information and stock trading.
New information sections such as ‘Order Book Status’, ‘Earnings’, ‘Dividend Information’, and ‘Broker’ have been added to the previously provided stock-related information to assist investment decisions. These sections have been grouped under the ‘Information’ tab so users can view the desired information at a glance.
Changes were also made to the chart screen. A ‘Candlestick Chart’ was added to the period charts, allowing users to easily switch between the existing line chart and the new candlestick chart, enhancing the usability of chart information.
The newly added ‘Order Book Status’ section visualizes the cumulative volume of the top 10 buy and sell orders for domestic stocks using bar graphs. This feature allows users to quickly grasp the volume at each price level and easily identify the price level with the highest trading volume.
Real-time trading-related issues can be checked at a glance in the ‘Current Issues’ section. It notifies users when important price-related events occur, such as reaching the upper or lower price limits or hitting new lows or highs, helping users seize optimal investment timing.
The information screen for assessing a stock’s profitability has also been refined. The ‘Earnings’ section analyzes the company’s announced earnings figures compared to analyst estimates, while the ‘Dividend’ section provides a graph showing the dividend payout trends over the past five years.
Additionally, the ‘Quick Summary’ section offers key information on the stock’s trading status, such as trading volume, market capitalization, and price-to-earnings ratio (PER), and the ‘Overview’ section displays basic company information and related Exchange-Traded Fund (ETF) details, all arranged to be viewed on a single screen alongside other information.
The new stock information screen can be accessed by selecting the desired stock under the ‘Stocks’ tab in the latest version of the Kakao Pay app and then tapping the ‘Information’ tab. The latest version of the Kakao Pay app is being rolled out sequentially to some users.
A Kakao Pay Securities representative stated, “We enhanced the visibility of existing stock information, added new features, and organized everything under a single menu to allow a multidimensional combination of various investment information. We will continue to innovate based on a user-friendly interface that leverages the platform’s strengths, enabling anyone to easily approach financial investment.”
