This dementia overcoming week campaign was organized under the theme "Creating a Dementia-Friendly Project Together with Warm Interest and Love" to raise awareness about the importance of early dementia screening.
The Dementia Safety Center promoted ▲providing accurate information about dementia ▲forming a consensus for overcoming dementia ▲recruiting dementia partners as part of dementia projects to increase interest in dementia.
Additionally, participants received promotional items along with Dementia Safety Center brochures, which provided information on dementia patient-tailored support systems, dementia patient programs, and other dementia support projects.
Jung Yeon-oh, Director of Pocheon City Health Center and head of the Pocheon City Dementia Safety Center, stated, "This is a time when warm interest and understanding from local residents regarding dementia are necessary," adding, "The Pocheon City Health Center will continue to strive to create a dementia-friendly community where dementia patients and their families can live with peace of mind."
