Phoenix Park announced that it has donated 100 million KRW in scholarships to the Pyeongchang Scholarship Foundation to nurture local talent. The funds will be used as scholarships for middle and high school students and university students residing in Pyeongchang-gun. Phoenix Park has continuously worked for the development of Pyeongchang-gun by supporting young ski talents in Bongpyeong-myeon, providing development funds, and fostering coexistence with the local community. Jeon Yoon-cheol, General Manager of Phoenix Park, stated, "We will continue to strive to promote the beauty of Pyeongchang widely and achieve regional development and coexistence based on the best facilities and services."
GKL Receives Minister of Health and Welfare Award in 2024 Senior Employment Project Evaluation
GKL announced that it received the Minister of Health and Welfare Award in the social service-type leading model category at the 2024 Senior Employment and Social Activity Support Project evaluation. The Senior Employment and Social Activity Support Project, celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, supports various jobs and social activities to help seniors lead active and healthy lives. Last year, GKL collaborated with the Korea Senior Human Resources Development Institute to develop a new social service-type leading model job called 'Senior Records Manager.' A six-month pilot project was conducted, and the achievement of discovering a suitable model for senior employment in the middle-aged and older population was recognized. This year, two public institutions, the Korean Red Cross and the Post Office Facilities Division, have also adopted and are implementing the Senior Records Manager project.
