Asan City Holds Policy Planning Meeting for Next Year... Discusses Asan Visit Year and More Asan City in Chungnam held the "2025 Policy Planning Report Meeting" on the 25th.

Asan City in Chungnam held the '2025 Policy Planning Briefing' to strategize for achieving 100% fulfillment of the 8th popularly elected administration's pledges and to promote the '2025-2026 Visit Asan Year.'


At the briefing held on the 25th in the City Hall situation room, key initiatives were presented, including: △Pursuing designation as a National High-Tech Strategic Industry Specialized Complex △Establishing a Bio-Medical Healthcare Cluster △Promoting designation as the Chungnam Free Economic Zone △Holding a forum to amend laws for securing the status of a city with a population of 500,000 △Creating an environment for canoe experiences at Gokgyocheon △Providing psychological support services for patients with rare diseases △Launching the Asan Health TokTok Smart Healthcare Project △Supporting costs for freezing and preserving reproductive cells regardless of marital status.


In particular, to mark the 30th anniversary of Asan City's founding and to make the '2025-2026 Visit Asan Year' a pivotal moment for city development, the following were also proposed: △Supporting big data analysis for tourism during Visit Asan Year △Strengthening Yi Sunshin tourism content △Enhancing promotion of Asan's tourist attractions through social media.


Based on the content of the briefing, the city plans to gather final opinions, review budget allocation, and supplement the policies to establish next year's business plan.


Mayor Park Kyunggui said, "While it is important to attract many people to visit Asan during the '2025-2026 Visit Asan Year,' it is even more important to ensure that those who visit leave with a good impression of our region," adding, "Let us achieve a new leap forward by preparing meticulous and creative policies."
