The mayor said, "Goyang City has well-established large-scale cultural and performance infrastructure such as KINTEX and Goyang Sports Complex, enabling the attraction of various global large-scale events," and added, "On the 12th, we signed a business agreement with Live Nation Korea, one of the world's top performance planning companies, to cooperate in various fields and create an opportunity to strengthen Goyang Special City's competitiveness as a performance hub city."

The mayor continued, "Performances by globally influential artists such as Kanye West and Coldplay have been held, and in October, performances by domestic artists like ENHYPEN and SEVENTEEN are also scheduled to take place in Goyang City," adding, "Through active efforts to attract performances, Goyang Sports Complex is becoming a central place for large-scale performances."

He further stated, "Hosting large-scale performance events has a significant ripple effect on the local economy, including commercial districts, and greatly enhances the city's brand image," and added, "By raising overseas recognition through international cultural performances and improving the city brand, positive effects can be expected in attracting domestic and foreign companies to the economic free zone in the future."
