On the 24th, Pyeongtaek City in Gyeonggi Province held a groundbreaking ceremony for the 'Cheongbuk Multipurpose Gymnasium' to be constructed in the area of 8-1 Husa-ri, Cheongbuk-eup.

The Cheongbuk Multipurpose Gymnasium, with a total floor area of 873㎡, is being established to promote the health of local residents and expand the base of community sports. The city plans to complete the project by June next year, investing a total of 7.2 billion KRW, including special adjustment grants. Outdoor facilities such as a jokgu court and a multipurpose plaza will also be provided.
Jang-seon Jeong, Mayor of Pyeongtaek, stated, "We will strive to contribute to the revitalization of community sports in the western region of Pyeongtaek starting with this project."
